Earlier today, January 16th of 2022, I created a new publication on this platform. I did it because I didn’t want to mix my unique personal tales with my game dev writing. However, if you guys are like me, you’re probably wondering where I wrote this and why.

I’ll be upfront. My purpose for making this publication is to help educate people on the Medium Platform about the subject I espouse as one of the best tools for game dev. I just want to share more about this.

I also have another publication that needs attention and I plan to write in both of them… this is becoming a greater problem for me than I’d like. *ahem* Anyway, let’s talk about the publications, everyone.

My first publication, the one that I started over a year and a half ago as a help for people looking into fiction genres of a specific style, is something I’d let become fallow for a long time. This has to be remedied.

Wait, drat, I forgot to mention what the publication’s about… hold on.

My first publication is about writing a specific subset of genres in the Progression Fantasy genre. In it so far, I mention what makes a story Gamelit, but not yet the other major subgenre of Progression Fantasy, which came before Gamelit. I’m still working on how to word that post so that I get everything right, to be fair.

To find out more about my first publication, please follow the link I’ve provided below:

Now, my second publication is about making computer game RPGs. I intend to have it follow along the path of a specific set of tools that I espouse as I mentioned above. I wanted to write it in this personal blog, but then I was told that it would be better to split the two things apart, and thus the publication was born.
