A Creative’s Lifestyle Update
I See a White Reflection (Part 2)
A status report on my game developing life this time
--
Now that I’ve gotten your attention in the previous post, allow me to finish the mini-series of posts that I had in mind. Here’s what I have in mind, everyone.
Video Game projects that I’ve got going on
So, as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, I’m a game developer (to a degree). What this means is that I’m attempting to develop a fair few projects that are also giving me headaches.
Here are five examples of games that I’ve got in the pipeline that I need to figure out what to work on.
Sword Art Online Recreation
A fan game that details what could very well be the entire Aincrad arc of the Light Novel series Sword Art Online if nobody condensed it into a couple of books minimum (Volumes 1 and 2 in the OG series) and if it expanded on each of the 100 floors that make Aincrad a truly impressive place. Of course, if anyone else here has knowledge of the series, you’d know that it stopped 25 floors short in canon.
To be fair, most of the good stuff, at least to me, happens on the first 25 floors of the story. I hope that the story of this game gets better than what it could be as I’m working on it, especially since I’m adapting this to be a true video game experience.
Kingdom Star Fantasy
This project is one I’ve mentioned in a previous post, and I am glad that I can get to work on it, though I’ve got a lot of issues that I need to address with this project’s development. I started working on it when I was on vacation earlier, which was a flop because my laptop is at least 4 years old. Of course, that’s a problem that I need to address as soon as I get more money in my bank account.
Anyway, let’s get back on track with this, shall we?
This project is at a standstill for the time being, mainly because I need to transfer the files from my laptop to my tower, all things considered. There has to be a fair deal of things done to make sure I can actually work on it.
