I Probably Should Have Gone to University for Writing

At the very least, I would have learned a lot of stuff that I normally would not

As I look back at my life over the last twelve years, I see I was a brat who barely got himself out of high school by the skin of his teeth. It should come as no surprise that I wanted to get through life’s trials speedily and with no impact on myself or the world. The whole time I was alive back then had to have been one screwup after another. My life would have probably been better if I went to university or something similar.

Oh, wait, I did. I went to Edmonds Community College for two quarters of a school year (non-consecutive).

Maybe I should start this over from the beginning…

So… looking back on the last 12 years

In 2011, I lived in my parents' house until September 1st, when I moved out for real. I had moved out for five weeks the year before because I needed a change of pace, though my mother (who is also a user on here) might have words to say about that. However, that’s not the point of this article.

My parents had enrolled me in an 18–21 program as part of an attempt to get me to finish High School, which thankfully allowed me to get job skills. Oddly enough…
