Back in Leavenworth Again… Why?

This is a right pain to answer correctly.

Okay, allow me to explain some contextual clues that are missing from the post's title. Yes, I’m back in Leavenworth, Washington State, for a vacation. Why am I on vacation here of all places? You can easily blame a couple of factors for this one, and I will not linger on either of them for this.

First, I’m here on vacation because I couldn’t be home alone so I could go to my day job. That’s a predicament because I would rather be at home, mainly to earn the money I’m likely to miss from not working. Why would I want to worry about my income?

Well, that’s a problem that I have to work out long term. I’ve been told that I need to work on my happiness quotient, to paraphrase someone I know in real life, which is a right pain to deal with. Why do I do these things? Even I don’t know.

Okay, then. Perhaps I should do something about how happy I can be in life. How do I start with that?

Now, the second reason I’m here on vacation. My parents (who I don’t live with any longer) are on vacation as well, and they didn’t take me with them. Granted, they went on a road trip for their vacation. I doubt I’d be able to sit still in a car without…
