Another Month (Give or Take) at Work
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right?
Here’s the gist of what’s been happening around here lately. My writing life has been more about outlining story ideas than actually writing them, and I’d been working this day job practically consistently for the last month. I’d had one off day for the past month, on Wednesday the 17th, and that was a case of having trouble getting there. If memory serves me right, there was a snowstorm leading up to my workday, preventing me from getting to work.
However, we’re here more to talk about what happened on the days I worked, not on the days I didn’t. After that, I’ll be talking about some of my other life worries and my writing life again, people.
The Work Month
My work month was pretty stable. Normally, though, I’d work on the first day of the month… but it was New Year’s Day. Therefore, no work for me, not that day.
January 2nd, 2024
I worked a pretty normal workday, what with having my job coach show up to help me keep on track, and then went home by about 4 PM, which is the time the main bus I take is supposed to get me from my first job site. Nothing out of the ordinary.
